Sleep

A good night’s sleep or a power nap can do wonders. The human system treats it like a reset button – runs a garbage collector on the brain and body, clears up unwanted thoughts, cools down emotions and recharges itself. There is a noticeable difference in how we feel after a good rest. Just like the conspicuous effects of a lack of rest – irritability, mercurial emotions, inability to focus and low efficiency. Despite these factors, too often, we compromise on it for other pursuits.

Sleeping is like sharpening the saw when cutting wood. The time spent is well worth it.

  1. Ah sleep. There are two schools of thoughts. The traditional 8 hour sleep quoted by every article. There are also highly efficient people who don’t value sleep at all, 4 hours is too much. Which is right you can sleep over it and let me know šŸ˜€

And I am all for the 8 hour (& above šŸ˜‰) version.. Sleep is right at the top of the list of stuff that makes life worth living 😪

  3. I feel sleep is a personal choice and age related. At younger age ie., till marriage you have the privilege of availing the benefit. As responsibilities set in, the choice gets out of your hand and body adapts to whatever is available. Enjoy 8 hours or more deepi
